RIVERSIDE COTTAGE IN IDYLLIC NORTH NORFOLK COASTAL VILLAGE

SLEEPS 4

Old Charlie's is a traditional flint and brick detached cottage in Stiffkey, a pretty village sitting on the salt marshes of the North Norfolk coast.

The cottage is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The garden extends down to the banks of the little River Stiffkey with uninterrupted views of the peaceful valley.

To the seaward side of the cottage, and a short stroll away, is one of the largest expanses of undeveloped coastal habitats of its type in Europe. Blakeney National Nature Reserve is within the ownership of the National Trust. It includes Blakeney Point, Blakeney Freshes, Morston and Stiffkey Marshes and supports a wide range of coastal plant and bird communities, with many nationally important species.

Perfectly located between Blakeney and Wells-Next-The-Sea, for easy access to all the attractions this beautiful coast has to offer. As a bonus, The Red Lion pub is a mere 30 second hop from the front door. A popular and classic country inn, it serves great locally sourced food and beer.

This cosy and compact detached cottage has recently been refurbished to the highest specification and sleeps three (four with a pull out bed).

Birdwatchers, walkers, real ale enthusiasts, epicurians and beach lovers will all find both the cottage and area a delight.
